Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us! Adoption is something that we have wanted to do for several years, and we are excited to grow our family this way. We are a fun couple with a strong and loving extended family who cannot wait to include your child in all that we do. We love adventure and are thankful and excited for the opportunity to welcome your child into our home. We want you to know that you are important, and we look forward to learning more about you!
About Us
We grew up together in church and have been friends for many years. Eventually, our time together lead us to date and then quickly to marriage! We have now been married for over six years! We have gotten to see and support each other through the highs and lows. We have laughed together, cried together, seen one another through the toughest of trails, and watched each other soar as our individual dreams have come true. God is at the center of our life and relationship, and we have learned to lean on him in everything. We balance each other out beautifully, and we have both grown so much because of one another. Some fun things we like to do together include going out to eat for special occasions and celebrations, seeing live music, putt-putt golf, and movie nights! We cannot wait to include your child in all of our adventures.
About Jonathon
Jonathon is kind, hardworking, loving, intentional, goofy, and loyal, just to name a few. He is the oldest of three siblings and works alongside his family at the family-owned construction business. Jonathon loves to go camping, on fun hiking trips, and always enjoys going out fishing in a lake or in the ocean on the boat. He knows who he is and what he wants and puts Christ at the center of all that he does when leading our family well. He loves movies, grilling out, game nights, and is the fun uncle that all of our nieces love!
He will be a wonderful father, and I know he is excited to share his passion for the great outdoors with our child and looks forward to sharing his plethora of “dad jokes” with them!
About Cassie
Cassie is quiet, kind, and observant, and once you get to know her, she’s a silly dancing loon! She is a lover of all things you can warm up and put in a mug! She’s certified in education, works in sales and marketing, and loves to camp and travel. She is the oldest of three siblings and plays piano, guitar, and sings in our church worship team. In her spare time, outside of doing something with her family, you will find her curled on the couch reading a good book, making art in her studio while listening to worship music, spending the day with her mom and sister, or on a coffee date with either a young woman she is mentoring in our church or with some girlfriends and their children. She is so excited to be a mom, and I know she looks forward to sharing her love of the arts with our child.
Our Florida Home
Our home is a 3 bedroom/2 bath single-family home in a very quiet and family neighborhood. We have the nursery room picked out and have already started decorating. We’ve included many children’s books and a small collection of special toys that have been saved from our childhood and gifted from our nieces. They are very excited for cousins! We have a nice backyard with room for a swing set, and is in a neighborhood that leads right to a lake! We love to take out our boat, Do yardwork together on the weekends, ride our bikes along the local trails, and participate in community events such as festivals and our annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Parade. Our home is located just a short drive away from the beach, freshwater springs and camping sites, and theme parks.
Our Family
Our families could not be more thrilled or supportive of our adoption! They are so excited and are already making plans and creating spaces within their own homes for grandbaby visits! We love to spend time at our parent’s house on the weekends with our siblings and our nieces, who are all thrilled about the arrival of a new cousin to play with! Cassie’s parents just bought an RV and are excited to take our little family on weekend getaways, and Jonathon’s parents just built an incredible fort on the farm and cabin for the grandkids to enjoy and family vacations!
Our Promise to You
As parents, we promise to instill the same values into your child as we ourselves believe in. We will love them with all of our hearts and give them a home full of love, laughter, singing, dancing, praying, and structure. We promise to support them, pray for them and offer them all of the possibilities that we can and teach them the value of hard work. We will always speak openly and positively about you so they know how much you love them. Adoption will forever be a part of our story, and we value the gift that you and God are entrusting us with.
