Hello! We are a friendly, fun, hard working couple who loves date nights at new restaurants and as much time with family as we can get. We try not to take life too seriously and find joy in anything we do together!
Raising a child has been our dream for many years. Going through infertility made us stronger and closer than ever. We’re ready and excited to adopt our first child! Our lives are already set up to give a child our full attention. Jill will be a stay-at-home mom and Chris works from home. We’re excited to experience all the “firsts” as parents! You would forever be special part of our lives and we’d love to stay in touch with you as your child grows up.
About Us
We totally met by chance! One night we were both out with our friends and we bumped into each other. We had seen each other at the gym, but never met before that night. We briefly talked and shared phone numbers. During our first date the next week we had an instant connection! Now we’ve been together over 10 years and happily married for 8.
Things we love to do together:
• Travel to explore new places and cultures, especially if it’s in the mountains.
• Try new, local restaurants (total foodies!)
• Take walks and bike rides on the nature trails.
• Go to the local carnivals and fairs. (We hardly miss one!)
Meet Jill
I recently became a homemaker and I love it! It will be a dream come true to be a stay-at-home mom after we adopt.
According to Chris: Jill is the total package. She’s beautiful inside and out, kind‐hearted, smart, and is always down to just have fun. She takes care of me and our home with efficiency and grace. Jill already has great maternal instincts and I know her practical and caring traits, and passion for family, will make her the best mom.

I am a director of a product operations team for an investment firm.
According to Jill: I love Chris’ passion for life and adventure! He is a supportive and helpful husband, and I know that caring guidance and support will carry over when he’s a dad. Chris is a loyal provider, selfless, and loving. He is so ready to teach and love our future child with all his heart.

Our Home in Rhode Island
Our neighborhood is quiet and our friendly neighbors are mostly families with children of all ages. We’re one mile from the elementary school and just down the road from the high school. We get the best of both worlds, living outside the city, yet close enough to downtown and other major cities where there’s always something to do.
We have a three-bedroom home in a beautiful rural town in Rhode Island. Our open living space is where we love to come together to laugh, play, and make memories, together or with others. Out back there’s a yard that will be perfect for a swing set one day. We had the best time preparing a nursery for our future baby too!
Benny the Cat: Benny is our big handsome cat! He is very friendly (and he actually likes when we dress him up with a bow tie!). He’s a sweet part of our little family!
Our Extended Family
Our families are smaller and very close-knit. We love living close to our families so we can get together regularly for birthdays, holidays, and fun times in between. We also have family outside of this area and it’s fun to see them throughout the year. Between us we have 3 nephews and 1 niece who will be awesome cousins for our future child. Our whole family is supportive and happy about our plans to adopt!

| Thoughts on Open Adoption | We would very much look forward to having an open adoption! We want you to know that we would embrace a chance to have a relationship with you throughout your child's life. However, we also understand that you may need time or space before you're ready for a connection and we will respect your needs. When we picture open adoption, we see the potential for us to develop a close relationship where we share photos and letters often, planning visits at least once a year where we can get together. You would always hold a meaningful place in our lives and continue to be an important part of our child's story. It is important to us that our child will understand and appreciate how they came into our lives because of you, and how adoption brought us all together. | |
