A Letter from Jeff & Cathy
After trying for over eight years to bring another child into this world has left us more than ever ready to grow our family. We believe that God’s timing is perfect and want you to know that we so appreciate you.
We have 1 daughter, Gabriella, we know she will be an amazing older sister. She is already going through all her bookshelves to pick out her favorite picture books to share. We believe the best way a child learns is through time spent with them and having the opportunity to try new sports, hobbies, and interests. The more new experiences a child can participate in the better to help them discover their passions, embrace their God-given talents, reach their full potential and become happy, productive, self-confident people.
We live in Missouri and when we aren’t traveling we love to hike, bicycle, camp in our RV, go swimming in all of the lakes and creeks, and simply enjoy nature. We look forward to sharing nature and the great outdoors with another child.
About Us
We met right after high school but didn’t start dating until almost twelve years later. We have grown up together, seeing each other mature into who we are today. We have now been married for over twelve years, and every single day we continue learning to communicate deeper, more fully, and with a deep respect for one another’s individual gifts.
We knew, almost immediately, that we wanted to spend our lives together, sharing experiences with each other, with our future children, and discovering the world through our love of travel. We have been blessed to travel to many countries and experience several different cultures.
Most all of our favorite activities as a family revolve around traveling, being outside, and food! It’s the best when we can combine all 3 by taking our RV to the mountains or beach, setting up the grills, and cooking out over the campfire taking in the amazing views. We also really enjoy reading as a family and spend a lot of time at the local library or Barnes and Noble.
About Cathy by Jeff
Cathy is a stay-at-home mom and is the most amazing person I’ve met. She is incredibly engaging and is truly focused on helping everyone around her live the best life possible. She is selfless, she is loving, and she is passionate about her faith, family, and friendships. She is my best friend. She always enters a room with a smile and embraces all that life has to offer. She is an incredible Mom to our daughter and looks forward to providing our next child the same love and attention as they grow up. She is dedicated to self-improvement and has a servant’s heart, putting others’ needs before hers in almost every situation.
About Jeff by Cathy
Jeff is ambitious and driven to succeed, but not at the expense of his time with family. He grew up with a workaholic dad that he barely knew and is committed to doing things differently. He has built the businesses, so he only has to work 15-20 hours a week and still provide an amazing lifestyle for our family. He loves teaching our daughter about nature, business, sports, our faith, and how to grill the perfect steak. He’s super excited to share all of these with our next child as well. He is an amazing dad, and it has been fun to watch him grow so close to our daughter. I can’t wait to watch him do it with another child.
Our Home in Missouri
Our neighborhood has parks, a pool, a basketball court, tennis courts, walking trails, and is very family-friendly. We are ten minutes from a state park with hiking trails and a national forest. We are nestled in rolling hills, and our cedar and stone home is ready for another child. It has 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a full basement including a Movie Room, workout room, guest bedroom/bath, and Jeff’s office. Our upstairs is a giant bonus room filled with nothing but toys for the kiddos to play with! We have a babbling creek in our backyard and back up to a gorgeous bluff of pine trees. just a few doors down is our neighborhood pool with an extensive playground, horseshoe pits, pickleball courts, tennis courts, a basketball court, and outdoor grills right next to a flowing creek with footbridges.
Our Daughter
Our daughter, Gabriella, is 13 years old and is a very well-rounded kid. She is homeschooled and has grown up with a love of learning, exploring, playing, using her imagination and trying about every sport she can. She currently plays basketball, track, swim team, and softball. When she is not playing sports, she loves to read and can do it for hours at a time. She has an amazing blend of being able to still play dress up with little kids using her imagination, being one of the readers at our church services and speaking in front of crowds of adults, and doing fundraising for our Homeschool co-op. She will be a playmate, a mentor and someone to look up to. She is super excited to have a little brother or sister to share her loves with.
Our Promise
We believe the more people that love a child, the better, so we delight in the future role you will embrace, whatever and however you choose that to be. We promise to show the world and to provide the same opportunities for travel, sports, taking in the outdoors, and living a full life. They will be loved, nurtured, and surrounded by friends and family.

Book | The E-Myth Revisited. It's a business book that changed my life and continues to shape my thought processes daily | I read so much this is really hard for me. My favorite genre would definitely be Historical Fiction. I love exploring different times and cultures |
More About Our Family | ||
Our Special Interests | We love to go camping. We recently upgraded to a nice travel trailer that we pull behind Jeff's truck, and it has been wonderful. It has 2 bunk beds, a queen size bed, a dining room, and a small kitchen. We love rolling out the awning, turning on the radio, and cooking brats, burgers and dogs over the open flames of a fire while sitting lakeside or in the forest. It is so peaceful and a great opportunity to connect with one another without all the distractions of modern-day living. No cell phones, no laptops, and no TV to get in the way of us growing closer as a family. We can't wait to share this with another child.
Our Faith | We are heavily involved in our church and consider it a 2nd family. Jeff is a member of The Knights of Columbus, which meets regularly and is focused on supporting dozens of charities in our community. He also is a member of the Vocations Committee. Cathy is a member of several councils at church, including the Parish Council of Women, The Ladies Auxiliary, and also serves as the Director of our Homeschool Co-op program held weekly. Our daughter is engaged consistently with the youth group, Sunday School, and is also a Lectern at many of the daily masses. Our faith is very important to us, and everyone in our church is incredibly excited about the possibility of us adding another child to our family to be loved by all.
Our Musical Interest | Cathy love's Country music, classical music, swing band, older rock, christian contemporary...pretty much all music that lifts me up with a good beat and positive message. Jeff is also all over the board. He leans toward either alt rock, 80s rock and hair metal bands, Jack Johnson or classic rock like Zeppelin, but he also loves to listen to Christian contemporary and Country when driving. Gabriella plays the Piano so we love listening to her play anytime we can be an audience!
Our Family Traditions | Our family loves traditions! We believe they nurture a sense of belonging that helps establish and strengthen family bonds. Some of our favorite traditions revolve around nature, food, and the holidays. The 4th of July is a big one with fireworks, friends, and backyard games. Cathy's grandma was born in Mexico, so the food growing up was authentic. Making homemade tortillas and enchiladas is an important business in the kitchen. Planning and executing the popular pumpkin carving contest, we find the best pattern, scoop out and bake the seeds, with the grand lighting ceremony capping it off. At Christmas, we always check out the Chef's nearly life-size Gingerbread houses on display at Chateau on the Lake and then enjoy a wonderful brunch. We take at least one big family vacation a year along with several smaller ones, especially two and three-day trips in our RV to see state and national parks to enjoy the incredible beauty present in our world. We see the expansion of our family through adoption, with your help, as the next big adventure!
